Palma (Crognale) Mauceri

Palma (Crognale) Mauceri, 92, of Norristown passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 17, 2024 at the Einstein Medical Center Montgomery surrounded by her loving family.  Born on November 6, 1931 in Norristown, she was the daughter of the late Camillo & Katie (Verruni) Crognale, and the loving wife of the late Perry Mauceri.

Palma was a lifelong resident of Norristown, as well as a dedicated parishioner of Holy Saviour Church.  She dedicated her time to church groups and organizations, such as the Holy Saviour Senior Citizens, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Sodality, and the Catholic War Veterans. Palma also had a deep devotion to Padre Pio and would pray to his Novena often. Palma spent her last few years at Brandywine senior suites. She walked the hallways every day for exercise and enjoyed the bingo games as she was a frequent winner. But most of all she cherished the time she was able to spend with her family, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and a dear friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her and she will be missed by many.

Palma is survived by her three loving children, Patricia (The late Michael “Mickey”) Olejar, Pamela (John) Hill, and Peter (Laurie) Mauceri; Palma is also survived by her grandchildren, Sherry (Brant), Michael (Amanda), Ashley (Tyler), Brian, Zach (Blaire), and Perry; Four great grandchildren, Benjamin, Ethan, Noah, Natalie;  and a great grandchild on the way.  Palma is also survived by her sister-in-law, Lillian, and brother-in-law, Russell.

In addition to her parents and loving husband, Palma was preceded in death by her brother, Gino; and her sister-in-law, Mary.

Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing for Palma on Thursday April 25, 2024 from 1:00PM – 2:00PM at the St. Patrick’s Cemetery Chapel, 2400 Dekalb Pike, East Norriton, PA19403.  A prayer service will follow the viewing at 2:00PM in the chapel.  Burial will take place immediately following in the adjoining cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in memory of Palma to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 30 S. 17th St. #800, Philadelphia, PA 19103.  Funeral arrangements are in care of the Caramenico Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 403 E.
